Constitution

Today the new congress read aloud the Constitution of these United States, they did this as a reminder as to why they are there, they also did this under protest by the democrats that were in power until just a few days ago. Why do the democrats protest the reading of the Constitution? Because they believe that it's wrong, and that the top law of the land, should be changed, this is all part of turning this country into a new socialist utopia.

Camp cutlery

I've gotten a few different pieces of cutlery that I've been checking out in order to see what I like best, I've gotten everything from sporks that cost less that $1 each at Wal-Mart, a stainless set from Coghlans, a GSI Telescoping Foon and a Brunton My-Ti titanium Spork. Any of these things will work just as well as the other when you're hungry, but what's the best one? I'm still trying to decide that, check out Bushmaster73.com for what I really think about them!

oops!

I was out today and I got a flat tire, and although I try to be prepared, I had overlooked that fact that my spare tire has a leak right at the bead and that my lug wrench grew legs! Luckily there are still a few decent people out there that were there to help me out when I needed it. I resolve that this won't happen again, especially when I go out into the mountains were if I'm lucky no one will see me for a long time. I plan on putting together an emergency flat kit, in and I would recommend thateveryone else does the same. For my kit I plan on including: a bottle of slime, a tire plug kit, an air compressor, and a lug wrench that will work on different cars in case I need to stop to help someone else out.

I've always tried to lend a hand to people that have things like this happen, and I've seen my fair share of flat tires, especially when I've been off the pavement, this is just further proof that karma is real, what goes around comes around!

Camping Stoves


I've been looking at all the different Camping stoves out there and it can get a little confusing, not only do you have different "types" of stoves, or sizes depending on what they're meant for, but you have all kinds of different fuels as well. I personally have a few different the likes of Coleman Max and Peak 1, and from Max Burton, I plan on letting you know my thoughts on them here soon. Gearpods

I recently won a GearPods Backcountry and figured that I'd do a short review of it here before I do something a little more in depth on my website.
The Backcountry is a small tube that has two compartments to it, the top (smaller) compartment holds a first aid kit, it's a good little kit for one person, or even to keep in your truck/car. Nothing real special about the kit, it's mostly just your standard run of the mill contents, nothing missing or extra, but it is packaged in a neat little package. The bottom compartment has a little survival kit it in. It's got allot of things stuffed into it that you could use if you become stranded in the middle of nowhere. One if the coolest things that it's got is a small "GearPods Stove system" it holds a little more than 1 cup and can be used with either solid fuel tablets of a burner for denatured alcohol, either way  it can be used to get you through a sticky situation if one were to arise.

Rights

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.
