Obama says bin Laden tape shows weakness - Yahoo! News
OK, so Prez BHO is taunting ObL, this can't end good... Tell the guy that him and his organization are irrelevant, and that they're weak. BHO has no idea if ObL is still in charge, or maybe he does, and he's just trying to make the American people feel better. Maybe he's trying to make us think that he's the one that is responsible for the US being safer, remember, it's GWB's fault that the economy is shit, but it's BHO who stopped the terrorists!

Winter Storms
One of the biggest survival situations in the winter in a lot of this country is winter storms. If the weather takes a turn for the bad it may not matter if you're at home, work, or on the road. It pays to be prepared. If you're on the road you should keep a winter emergency kit in your car at all times. When I took the picture above I was driving in my Jeep, in 4-hi and I was still slipping at times. I was afraid the whole time that I was driving that I was going to slide off. Where I was there wouldn't be much time until another car came by, there are allot of other places that I could've been driving at that I could have slid off the road and no one would have come along for hours, or even days in some cases. I personally have read about that exact thing happening more than once within the past couple of months. You can always buy a winter kit that’s already been put together for your convenience, or you can get everything separately to build your own kit. Either way, if you’re going to be doing any driving in were there is a chance of winter weather hitting you, you need to have an emergency kit in your vehicle with you.
Things to put in your kit:
Flashlight
Shovel
Cat litter or sand
Warning triangle, flares, or better yet a strobe
A good first aid kit
Food and water
Blankets, even if it's just the mylar emergency blankets
If there is anything that I forgot to put on this list, please let me know.

Modern Survival
I've decided to start this blog to discuss what you should have around you and what to do in a disaster situation. Whether man made, or natural, we see these disasters all around us. From earthquakes, to hurricanes, terrorism, civil unrest, the possibilities are endless, it would be a real smart idea to be ready…for anything.
