I resolve that this won't happen again, especially when I go out into the mountains were if I'm lucky no one will see me for a long time. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.

Obama says bin Laden tape shows weakness - Yahoo! If the weather takes a turn for the bad it may not matter if you're at home, work, or on the road. It pays to be prepared. If you're on the road you should keep a winter emergency kit in your car at all times. When I took the picture above I was driving in my Jeep, in 4-hi and I was still slipping at times. I was afraid the whole time that I was driving that I was going to slide off. Where I was there wouldn't be much time until another car came by, there are allot of other places that I could've been driving at that I could have slid off the road and no one would have come along for hours, or even days in some cases. I personally have read about that exact thing happening more than once within the past couple of months. You can always buy a winter kit that’s already been put together for your convenience, or you can get everything separately to build your own kit. Either way, if you’re going to be doing any driving in were there is a chance of winter weather hitting you, you need to have an emergency kit in your vehicle with you.

Things to put in your kit:

Flashlight

Shovel

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;
